With the mission to serve the Muslim community in the Wendywood, Gallo Manor, Morningside Manor and Woodmead Suburbs of Sandton, Johannesburg, the Wendywood Muslim Jamaat Trust (WMJT) was formed in 2014 and its constitution formally adopted. The WMJT is registered as a Public Benefit Organization (PBO # 930047033). 

Through the Grace of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, the objective of WMJT is to establish a place for Allah's ﷻ worship and remembrance and a centre for Islamic learning. It is also envisaged that the Masjid & Madrassa promotes the ethos of community development and service to humanity.
